Washington D.C. (day 1)

I have a confession....... I am a photo-aholic! sign me uop for PAA meetings I am an addict! I realized this very serious problem after I came home from Washington with 600+ photos! I have decided, in order to save you from photo and story overload I would go day by day, or place by place..... you're welcome.

so heres is how the first day went:

. we got into the baltimore maryland airport (it was cheaper to fly in there, and take a taxi into D.C.) that night, and decided to just get an early start the next day. We went to a bar caled the Bottom Line, where we ate chiken tacos, bacon wrapped Tater Tots, and chips and Salsa. the food wasn't bad, but the service was awesome, we where sat in Al's section, and he showed us a very good time, he remade drinks, for me the picky light weight, and took food back when the order was mad wrong, with a smile on his face, the whole time being genuine, and very sweet.

. the next morning we went to a place called Wicked Waffle, where this gastronomical delight was made...

A Nutella, Strawberry and Whipped Cream Waffle so delicious!

.After we had fed our bellies, we ventured down I street towards the White House. As we where making our way there, I was overwhelmed by a buildings Architecture, so I took these:

the structure just called to me..

From the colums to the varying hughs of gray.

 I found it very beautiful.

I found out it was the executive office building for the white house. pretty swanky if you ask me. I love the statue in front of it too, it was very ornate, and beautiful....

everything in D.C. I would swear has more than one meaning or reason for being there. the statue was erected for a division of men that were killed. give meaning for those men, and shows the strength and beauty of our nation, and the wonderful love our country has for its patriots. I am so grateful for things like this that show, and encourage patriotism, and love of country. where I live there is very little of this.

i'm going to leave it at that for tonight..... goodnight travel enthuist

Starting to Travel

I love to travel, with every once of my being! I'm so interested in all the cultures, and wonders the world contains. I have recently begun experiencing the united states further, and thought it would be very fun to share my exploits, and the little things I have seen and done. I thought I could start a travel journal, and share what worked for me, and what was skippable. hopefully this can become a well used journal, because I want to see the world.
